Bangkalan, Jurnalsekilas.com (16/04) – Usai gelar aksi berjilid-jilid dalam rangka evaluasi kinerja DLH dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bangkalan. Paguyuban Pemuda Kabupaten Bangkalan (PPB), terus mempertanyakan kebijakan Lingkungan Hidup yang ada di Bangkalan, kali ini dengan menggelar FGD.
Dalam acara bertajuk “Dialog Kebijakan Lingkungan Hidup” pada Minggu (16/4/23) di cafe praja Bangkalan. Ketua Umum PPB, Muhammad Sufi menuturkan bahwa masih banyak masalah lingkungan yang terabaikan oleh pemerintah. Salah satunya tak lain adalah sampah yang dibuang sembarangan dan berserakan.
“Salah satu kasus ada pembuangan sembarangan kantong darah, padahal itu masuk limbah medis yang harus dibuang secara khusus,” kata dia.
Berdasarkan pada data yang ada Kabupaten Bangkalan setidaknya bisa memproduksi 428 ton sampah tiap harinya. Dan Jika tidak dikelola sebaik mungkin, akan terjadi penumpukan sampah di TPA.
Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyar Daerah (DPRD) Bangkalan, Komisi C, H. Musawwir mengatakan bahwa DLH menerima sekita 5% anggaran dari total Angaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Derah (APBD). Oleh karena itu ia meminta pengelolaan lingkungan hidup di Bangkalan utamanya di bidang sampah dapat ditingkatkan.
“Saya harap DLH dapat meningkatkan pengolaan sampah dan bisa menjadikan Bangkalan sebagai kota yang indah,” katanya saat menjadi narasumber.
Sementara itu, Kepala DLH Kabupaten Bangkalan, Anang Yulianto menyampaikan bahwa ia dan pihaknya telah berupaya agar sampah di Bangkalan bisa zero. Salah satund upayanya adalah dengan pengoptimalan Tempat Pengelolaan Sampah Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (TPS3R).
“Melalui pengolaan sampah di TPS3R ini tidak perlu buang sampaj ke TPA. Karena sampah sudah diolah jadi bahan ekonomis,” ungkapnya.
