Sumenep, jurnalsekilas.com – Sejumlah Tokoh Komunitas Warga Kepulauan (KWK) menyuarakan status “darurat darah” bagi masyarakat kepulauan, Kamis (11/03/2021).
Meninggalnya Liana, di atas kapal Dharma Bakti Sumekar III, seorang pasien animea yang memerlukan transfusi darah saat akan dirujuk ke Sumenep, (28/01/2021), adalah salah satu, dari sekian banyaknya pasien yang tidak tertolong karena, tidak adanya Unit Transfusi Darah (UTD) di kepulauan.
Tokoh masyarakat Kangean yang, sekaligus Ketua KWK, H. Safiudin, SH. MH. yang karib disapa Bang Haji Piu, berbicara kepada kwknews.co.id terkait status “darurat darah” di kepulauan, “Sulitnya darah bagi masyarakat kepulauan tidak hanya dialami di pulau mas…, tetapi terjadi juga saat mereka berada di Sumenep. Sudah darurat darah bagi masyarakat kepulauan”.
“Keluarga pasien yang membutuhkan darah harus mencari pendonor terlebih dahulu, padahal, dalam Permenkes 85 tahun 2019 sudah jelas. BDRS (Bank Darah Rumah Sakit) harus ada disetiap RS (Rumah Sakit). Ketika stok darah di BDRS habis, barulah RS berkoordinasi dengan PMI selaku pelayan darah”, tuturnya.
“Tetapi yang terjadi selama ini kan tidak mas…, keluarga pasien yang harus sibuk mencari pendonor. Saya sebagai Ketua KWK sudah memohon waktu kepada Bupati Sumenep, untuk audiensi dengan pihak RSUD Moh. Anwar dan PMI Sumenep”. Terang Haji Piu.
Tokoh KWK lainnya, Masduki, yang juga seorang pengusaha ikut memberikan tanggapan terkait permasalahan ini, “Fakta yang ada setiap orang Kangean mau transfusi darah, selalu keluarga yang diminta mencari darah. Terkesan tidak ada tanggung jawab dari pihak RS dalam hal ketersediaan dan mencarikan darah bagi pasien”.
Secercah harapan akan peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan di kepulauan sempat timbul, dengan dibangunnya Rumah Sakit Abuya Kangean di Desa Pabian, Kecamatan Arjasa, Kepulauan Kangean. Tetapi jauh panggang dari api, BDRS belum tersedia, baik di RSUD Abuya Kangean maupun, RSUD Moh. Anwar. (ilh)
