Sumenep, – Keberadaan kelompok swadaya masyarakat (KSM) Paguyuban Anggrek di Jalan Anggrek, Sumenep, telah memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi keamanan dan kenyamanan warga setempat. Dibentuk pada 27 November 2023, paguyuban ini menginisiasi patroli keamanan 24 jam yang melibatkan warga secara aktif.(8/8/2024)
Tadjul Arifien R., seorang budayawan yang tinggal di Jalan Anggrek, mengungkapkan rasa syukurnya atas inisiatif ini. “Sejak adanya satpam ronda, saya merasa sangat aman. Selain itu, lingkungan sekitar juga menjadi lebih bersih dan tertata. Dulu, banyak semak belukar yang menjadi sarang hewan liar. Sekarang, semuanya sudah terang benderang,” ujarnya.
Senada dengan Tadjul, Uswatun Hasanah, warga lain di Jalan Anggrek, juga merasa sangat terbantu dengan adanya patroli keamanan ini. “Saya merasa lebih aman dan tenang. Dengan adanya satpam ronda, kami bisa beraktivitas dengan lebih nyaman,” ungkapnya.
Keberhasilan Paguyuban Anggrek dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban lingkungan tidak lepas dari kolaborasi yang baik antara warga dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak. Warga secara swadaya mengumpulkan dana untuk membiayai operasional satpam ronda.
Untuk sementara, kami memberikan gaji sebesar Rp1.000.000 untuk masa uji coba selama tiga bulan. Kedepannya, kami berharap bisa meningkatkan gaji satpam seiring dengan peningkatan kas paguyuban,” ujar Firdaus, bendahara Paguyuban Anggrek.
