Pasien tersebut membutuhkan perawatan medis serius karena menderita diagnosa fase aktif memanjang dan CPD (Cephalopelvic Disproportion). Perjalanan dari pulau Kangean ke pelabuhan Kalianget, yang ditempuh dengan kapal motor selama 9 jam, menyoroti tantangan akses kesehatan di kepulauan. 11 April 2024
Melalui grup media WhatsApp KWK dan ADV PKP, H.Akhmad Ma’ruf menyatakan komitmennya untuk membantu masyarakat kepulauan dengan menyediakan kapal ambulance. Ia berharap kapal tersebut dapat mempermudah akses masyarakat kepulauan yang membutuhkan pelayanan medis darurat.
Selain itu, dalam wawancara melalui awak media ini, H.Akhmad Ma’ruf juga memberikan apresiasi kepada Bidan Erwin dan Bidan Ully atas perjuangannya melawan arus dan ombak demi menyelamatkan jiwa ibu dan bayinya. Dedikasi dan pengabdiannya atas profesinya di dinas kesehatan. Atas semua itu beliau memberikan hadiah berupa uang kepada kedua bidan tersebut.
