Sebagaimana diberitakan oleh media kwknews.id( 12/04/2023) : Kepala SMPN 2 Arjasa Kabupaten Sumenep ( Rudiyanto ) yang letak sekolahnya beralamat di jalan Raya Kalisangka nomor 2 ini, di duga sering tidak masuk Kantor ( tidak berdinas ).
Menurut sumber dipercaya, Kepala Sekolah selalu berada di Sumenep, sehingga nyaris Sekolah tersebut lumpuh, KBM nyapun tidak berjalan dengan baik. Sehingga Kepala Sekolah juga dinilai tidak bisa jadi contoh kepada guru yang lain.
Menurut sumber lain, Kepala Sekolah yang pangkat Golongan ( IV/a ) ini, disenut :
ahirnya banyak guru lain yang memgikutinya tidak masuk tapi gaji lancar dan sertifikasi. Ada guru orang kangean ada di sumenep dibiarkan tidak masuk, dan ada juga guru yang tinggal di Kangean juga dibiarkan tidak masuk.Mana mungkin dapat mengatur anak buah, jika sang pemimpin juga mangkir/ bolos.
Menurut Suudin, Sekretaris Komunitas Warga Kepulauan ( KWK ) , jika ini benar sungguh bertolak belakang dari jargon seorang yang berprofesi guru. Harusnya Kepala Sekolah yang demikian segera diberikan sanksi, begitu juga guru- guru yang nakal.
Dalam waktu dekat, KWK mempertimbangkan untuk unjuk rasa di SMPN2 Arjasa tersebut dan di Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep. Tunggu saja.pungkasnya.
